I. Introduction:
The X44T three-way copper-core plug valve is applicable to urban construction, chemical industry, metallurgy, petroleum, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and environmental protection. The opening and closing part of the plug valve is a cylinder with a hole, which rotates around the axis perpendicular to the channel together with the valve stem, thereby achieving the purpose of opening and closing the channel. It is mainly used for opening and closing pipelines and equipment media. The main advantages of this valve: suitable for frequent operation, quick and light opening and closing. Small fluid resistance. Simple structure, relatively small volume, light weight, easy to maintain. Good sealing performance, not limited by installation direction, the medium can flow in any direction. No vibration, low noise. The X44T three-way copper-core plug valve is used to cut off and connect media as well as divert flow. However, depending on the application nature and the erosion resistance of the sealing surface, it can sometimes also be used for throttling. The channel of the plug valve has various forms. The common straight-through type is mainly used for cutting off fluid. The three-way plug valve and four-way plug valve are suitable for fluid diversion. II. Features:
1. The window design at the inlet and outlet ends of the valve body adopts a double-groove sealing ring structure. During the rotation of the plug, the sealing specific pressure between the sealing pairs gradually changes. Until it reaches the fully open or fully closed position, sufficient sealing specific pressure is generated, and the sealing pair achieves zero leakage.
2. The double-groove sealing ring of the X43W two-way plug valve can not only keep the PTFE bushing stable in the valve body without displacement, but also absorb the slight deformation of the bushing caused by temperature difference changes. At the same time, it generates a strong wiping effect between the bushing and the plug, further improving the service life of the sealing surface.
3. The upper part of the plug valve stem adopts a combination of a PTFE diaphragm, an O-ring and an adjusting gasket, which can not only adjust the sealing specific pressure between the sealing surfaces to make the plug rotate flexibly, but also ensure the sealing of the inlet, outlet and middle flange connection ends.
4. The entire sealing process of the plug valve can be approximately considered as independent of the pressure in the pipeline.
5. Inside the PTFE bushing of the plug valve, different filler materials are used according to the operating temperature and working medium, ensuring good lubrication and long service life.
III. Matters needing attention during installation and maintenance:
1. Reserve enough space for the valve handle to rotate.
2. It cannot be used for throttling.
3. The plug valve with a transmission mechanism shall be installed vertically.
